The upbringing

Zakaria El Hamel is a social activist and the founder of Youth for Peace and Dialogue Between Cultures. He is passionate about promoting peace, equality, and justice and has dedicated his life to creating positive change in communities around the world.

Early Years and Inspiration:

Zakaria El Hamel was born in a small village in Morocco. Growing up, he witnessed firsthand the challenges that arise from misunderstandings between people from different cultures. These experiences inspired him to pursue a career in social activism and community service.

Vision for the NGO:

Zakaria El Hamel founded Youth for Peace and Dialogue Between Cultures in 2005 with a mission to foster understanding and respect among young people from different religions and backgrounds. The NGO believes in the power of dialogue and cooperation to create positive change in communities around the world. Its mission is to bring young people together to serve their communities and promote peace, equality, and justice for all.

Achievements and Recognition:

Under Zakaria’s leadership, Youth for Peace and Dialogue Between Cultures has become a recognized force for positive change in communities around the world. The NGO has received numerous awards and recognitions for its work, including been nominated for Nobel Prize Alternative ,Public Peace prize,Books for Peace Award /Italy Rome,Pan-African Humanitarian Awards/Young Achievers Prize On Peace Advocacy,Pan-African Humanitarian Awards and so many International Awards

A Young Moroccan journalist, Peace and human rights activist. Born in Morocco, Zakaria El Hamel comes from a family of human rights activists. Zakaria joined scouting when he was 7 years old, he had always That idea to make the world a better place, then he was introduced to equality and religious diversity at a very early age by his father who was a human rights activist. He studied law in university, and in 2005 he founded ‘‘Youth for Peace and Dialogue Between Cultures’’ in Oujda, where he lives now. his goal is to foster understanding and respect among the population by bringing young people from different religions and backgrounds together to serve their communities. He is a believer in the universality of human rights and faith in making the world a better place. Zakaria is a Multi Awards Winner, Member of Anna Lindh Foundation & The Coalition for the International Criminal Court.

Future Goals and Impact:

Zakaria El Hamel’s future goals for Youth for Peace and Dialogue Between Cultures are focused on expanding the organization’s reach, developing new educational programs, advocating for peace and justice, and creating opportunities for young people to engage in innovative approaches to intercultural dialogue. His ultimate goal is to create a global movement of young people committed to promoting peace and dialogue among different cultures and religions. This movement will lead to a more inclusive and harmonious society.
