Rabbi David Rosen
Rabbi David Rosen is the Special Advisor for Interfaith Affairs of the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, and has been active in promoting interreligious understanding globally for some forty years. In the last decade, his work has increasingly focused on the advancement of Jewish-Muslim relations, particularly in the Arabian peninsula.
the third son of the renowned Rabbi Kopul Rosen (founding Principal of Carmel College in England) he was born in 1951 in Newbury, Berkshire, and educated in England and Jerusalem. He served in the IDF and was chaplain to the forces in West Sinai. Subsequently he served as the Senior Rabbi of the largest Jewish congregation in South Africa, in Sea Point, Cape Town, as well as on the Cape Beth Din (Ecclesiastical Court.) and he was the founder/chairman of the Cape Inter-Faith Forum, the Council of Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Thereafter he was appointed Chief Rabbi of Ireland during which time he also served on the Academic Council of the Irish School of Ecumenics. He returned to Israel in 1985 to take up the appointment of Dean at the Sapir Center for Jewish Education and Culture in the Old City of Jerusalem and subsequently became Professor of Jewish Studies at the Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies. At that time, he also served as the Anti-Defamation League’s Director of Interfaith Relations in Israel and as the ADL’s co-liaison to the Vatican. In 1997 he became the Director of the ADL Israel office, and in the Spring of 2001 he was appointed International Director of Interreligious affairs of the American Jewish Committee assuming responsibility for AJC’s global interfaith work from his base in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Rosen is a member of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel’s Commission for Interreligious Dialogue; and is a past chairman of IJCIC, the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations that represents world Jewry to other world religions .
He is an International President of the Religions for Peace (RfP); Honorary President of the International Council of Christians and Jews (ICCJ); and is a member of the Elijah Interfaith Institute’s Board of World Religious Leaders. He served for ten years on the Board of Directors of the King Abdullah International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID), established by the King of Saudi Arabia together with the governments of Austria and Spain and the Holy See. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Imams and Rabbis and as a member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum’s Council for promoting relations and cooperation between the Muslim and Western worlds. He is a Founder of Rabbis for Human Rights, and the Rossing Centre for Education and Dialogue.
Rabbi Rosen was a member of the Bilateral Commission of the State of Israel and the Holy See that negotiated the Fundamental Agreement between the two, leading to the establishment of full bilateral relations in 1994.
In November 2005, Pope Benedict XVI made Rabbi Rosen a Knight of the Order of St Gregory the Great for his contribution to promoting Catholic-Jewish reconciliation; in 2010 he was made a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II for his contributions to interfaith relations; and in March 2016 he was awarded the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Hubert Walter Award for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation.
In addition to honorary doctorates, Rabbi Rosen is the recipient of various awards including the Premio Galileo 2000 Award; the Raphael Lemkin Award for Human Rights; the Search for Common Ground Award for Interfaith Dialogue; Waldzell Institute Life Achievement Award (together with the Dalai Lama and Sheikh Ahmed El Tayeb); and the Festival of Faiths’ Lifetime Achievement Award.
Rabbi Rosen is married to Sharon (Global Director of Religious Engagement, Search for Common Ground) and they have three daughters, four granddaughters and three grandsons.
Mr Andre Azoulay
Mr. Andre Azoulay has served as Counsellor to His Majesty Mohammed VI King of Morocco since 1991. Born in Essaouira, Morocco in 1941, he was educated in Paris in Economics, International Relations, and Journalism. His professional background includes involvement in regional affairs and banking. Mr. Azoulay is an active participant in Morocco’s financial institutions, including the Board of the Central Bank of Morocco, the Royal Academy of Morocco, and the Royal Academy of Spain for Economy and Finance. Mr. Azoulay has received distinctions including Commander of the Wissam Al Arch (Kingdom of Morocco) and Commander of the Legion d’Honneur (France).
A pluralist who believes in consensus and respect for the other, he is also a Member of the Board and President of the Executive Committee of the Foundation for “The Three Cultures and the Three Religions,” based in Seville, Spain, and is the Founder and Chairman of “Identity and Dialogue,” an association created in 1974 in Paris dedicated to dialogue between Jews and Muslims, Palestinians and Israelis.
DATO’ SHYAMALA ALAGENDRA
Dato’ Shyamala Alagendra is a Malaysian lawyer with 21 years’ experience. She is presently the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions of Fiji. She served as a Prosecution lawyer at the Special Panel for Serious Crimes (Timor Leste), Special Court for Sierra Leone (Sierra Leone), and at International Criminal Court. She acted as Defence Counsel at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, EULEX Court (Kosovo) and at the ICC (in both Kenya cases and for Saif Al-Islam Gadafi). She also represents victims of human rights violations and sexual abuse in several jurisdictions in Africa and Asia. In 2018, Shyamala was selected as one of the 150 Leading Women by the University of London during the 150th Anniversary of women gaining access to university education in Britain. She is also listed as one of the Inspirational Figures amongst Notable Students of the University of London
Dr. Hakima El Haité, Head of the Climate Action Committee
Dr. Hakima El HAITE , Head of the Climate Action Committee, is an internationally recognized leader in the fields of sustainable development, environment and climate change. She has 26 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman, as well as an appointed official and international advocate.This experience provides her with a unique ability to identify, communicate and execute environmental policies and projects.
As the former Minister of Environment for the Kingdom of Morocco, EL HAITE updated the national legislative framework and harmonized it with international legislation, realized the national strategy for sustainable development and introduced green growth into national solid waste management and industrial policies.
She was an active negotiator for the framework of The Paris Agreement and was subsequently elected to the Vice Presidency of COP21. She played a major role in bringing COP22 to Morocco and was a central actor in its organization and implementation.
In her capacity as Minister, EL HAITE served as a representative at the UN on climate change. She was chosen by His Majesty Mohammed VI of Morocco to be the Special Envoy, and High-Level Champion of the International Climate Conference (COP 22). She launched the Marrakech Partnership gathering together ministers, governmental negotiators, private sector actors and civil society (seventy-five worldwide coalitions) to build a concerted agenda for action and published with the support of the UNFCCC the first year book.
In her leadership roles EL HAITE traveled worldwide to campaign for the recognition of Climate Change as an urgent national and international issue, and vital necessity to switch from words to action. She succeeded in mobilizing sixty-eight heads of state to attend COP22 and to adhere to the Marrakech Partnership.
Prior to serving as Minister, EL HAITE was the President/CEO of EAU GLOBE, the first environmental engineering firm in Africa and the Middle East which she founded in 1994. EAU GLOBE successfully supported the development of integrated water management strategies throughout Morocco. She worked in the sectors of water, waste water, solid waste management, industrial depollution and institutional and legislative reforms in the field of environment and sustainable development. EL HAITE on behalf of EAU GLOBE was involved in projects in Africa and the Middle East, including those financed by the World Bank.
She serves as an international advisor on high level sustainability projects, currently acting as Special Advisor to President Macky Sall of Senegal on the development of environmental policy solutions for solid waste management and urban planning.
EL HAITE has been recognized internationally for her work. These honors include recognition by US President OBAMA as an innovative entrepreneur in 2010 at The Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship held in Washington, D.C.
ERIC GOZLAN
Eric Gozlan serves as a distinguished member of the Advisory Board, bringing decades of experience in civil diplomacy, geopolitics, and conflict resolution to the organization. As the Co-Director of I-Transform and a Colonel at Europol Ukraine, Mr. Gozlan is a specialist in back-channel diplomacy, regularly consulted by the French National Assembly and Senate on critical issues regarding radicalization and national security.
A committed mediator, Mr. Gozlan plays a pivotal role in conflict resolution negotiations across the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Africa. His methodology prioritizes intercultural dialogue and cooperation between governments, international bodies, and civil society. Most notably, he was recently appointed as a negotiator for the release of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia—a mission conducted in collaboration with Europol that underscores his dedication to human rights and the protection of vulnerable populations.
Believing in the power of “soft power,” Mr. Gozlan also champions cultural diplomacy. He collaborates with artists and institutions to foster reconciliation through art, utilizing integrative health and art-therapy initiatives to aid social reconstruction.
Mr. Gozlan is a recognized voice on the international stage, frequently lecturing at parliaments and universities worldwide. His contributions to peace have been honored with an award from the Prince of Belgium, and he holds the Peace Medal of Romania. He was also named Ambassador for the Roma cause in France by the King of the Roma people. He is the author of several analytical works, including Extremism and Radicalism: Reflections on a Way Forward and Ukraine: Keys to Understanding the Conflict.
Dr. Muqtedar Khan
Dr. Muqtedar Khan is Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware. He researches and teaches Islam, Governance and International Relations. He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations, Political Philosophy, and Islamic Political Thought, from Georgetown University in May 2000.
From 2017-2019 he was the Academic Director of the State Department’s National Security Institute (SUSI) and from 2019 onwards he is the Academic Director of the State Department’s American Foreign Policy Institute.
He founded the Islamic Studies Program at the University of Delaware and was its first Director from 2007-2010.
Dr. Khan is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Policy since 2016. He was Fellow with the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding from 2001-2016. He was a Senior Nonresident Fellow with the Brookings Institution [2003-2008] and a Fellow of the Al-Waleed Center at Georgetown University [2006-2007]. He has been the President, Vice President and General Secretary of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists.
He is the author of Islam and Good Governance: A Political Philosophy of Ihsan (Palgrave, 2019). Islam and Good Governance has been recognized as an all time best books on political philosophy. He also authored American Muslims: Bridging Faith and Freedom (Amana, 2002), Jihad for Jerusalem: Identity and Strategy in International Relations (Praeger, 2004). He has edited Islamic Democratic Discourse (Lexington Books, 2006) and Debating Moderate Islam: The Geopolitics of Islam and the West (University of Utah Press, 2007)

His political commentaries appear regularly in newspapers in over 20 countries. He has lectured in North America, East Asia, Middle East and Europe . Dr. Khan is from Hyderabad in India. Lenin Raghuvanshi
Lenin Raghuvanshi is a globally recognized human rights defender, peacebuilder, and social reformer dedicated to creating a just, democratic, and inclusive society. Born in Varanasi, India, he has devoted more than three decades to challenging caste discrimination, patriarchy, and communal violence, and to empowering Dalits, Adivasis, women, and other marginalized communities.
He is the co-founder of People’s Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) and Senior Advisor of JanMitra Nyas (JMN), grassroots organizations that advance the rights of the most excluded through advocacy, community mobilization, and policy engagement. His pioneering efforts in addressing caste apartheid and masculinity-driven violence have been acknowledged nationally and internationally.
Dr. Raghuvanshi’s work is deeply inspired by the philosophies of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, and the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). He identifies as a theological democrat and has consistently worked to transform hegemonic traditions into inclusive democratic practices.

Carlos María de Cerón y Castro
Carlos María de Cerón y Castro is an International Expert specializing in Democratic Governance, Human Rights, and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). He is also known as an International Election Observer, Humanitarian, and Changemaker. His professional career includes serving as a Programme Director and International Expert Adviser to the United Nations, particularly engaged in election observation missions with organizations like the OSCE, EU, and UN, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting democratic processes globally.
He began his direct involvement in electoral affairs as a polling station staff member and qualified in July 2010 as an Election Observer with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Ephraim Abel Kayembe Policy Management & Governance Specialist
Dr. Ephraim Abel Kayembe brings over 20 years of experience in high-level public policy, international relations, and governance to the Advisory Board. A veteran legislator and development specialist, Dr. Kayembe blends political acumen with technical expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS management, and socio-economic development.
Dr. Kayembe served the Government of Malawi as a Member of Parliament for Dowa West (2009–2025) and as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (appointed 2012). During his tenure, he was instrumental in establishing strategic partnerships with multilateral institutions and negotiating development resources with donors, including the Global Fund. He provided critical leadership in the parliamentary caucus on population management, notably participating in motions regarding safe abortion legal frameworks and advocating for the elimination of gender-based violence.
Beyond his political career, Dr. Kayembe has implemented major programs financed by the World Bank, African Development Bank, and the EU. He has collaborated extensively with UN agencies (UNFPA, UN Women, UNAIDS) to advance regional policy guidelines, including the management of HIV/AIDS in SADC prisons.
Before joining politics, Dr. Ephraim Kayembe worked with a number of organizations at a senior project and program management levels, and these included Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Concern Universal, Water For People, VSO RHAISA, and Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, Irrigation and Water Development.
An accomplished academic, Dr. Kayembe holds a PhD in International Relations and Political Diplomacy from Central China Normal University, an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Derby (UK), and a BSc in Demography and Mathematics from the University of Malawi. He currently serves as a Research Fellow and Lecturer for the Malawi School of Government and mentors doctoral candidates at DMI-Eugene University of Zambia.
